Nostalgia…

Nostalgia…

A Name with such Class

Many will Ask…

Who are You…

What could You Be…

Where did you come From

A Mystery Filled with so much History

As You go down Memory Lane

They will Glare, even Stare

Desire to Return back to Past

There can be so much Passion sometimes Clashing

To Recapture the Essence

A Great Time for a Lesson

Say the Name…

Nostalgia…

It Rolls off your Tongue like Satin

The Origin of the Word is New Latin

My meaning is Clear, Dear

May even Shed some Tears

Reflecting on Memories past By

To Return Home, plus(+) the Origin of my Root Algia

There is a Strong Yearning to Be

To Return Back to a Place, a Time a Moment

The Fashion can be Lasting

Nostalgia…

You leave a Lasting Impression

Your Scent Lingers, Stirring Memories

That Photograph, an Imprinted Trigger

A Phone call…

Words Spoken causing you to Reminisce

The Eruption of an Favorite Childhood Food

Unforgettable…

    1. You are so right Steve there are so many things that can trigger nostalgia. It has so much meaning. Wow… an old swing, you just never know. Then all of us have keepsakes whether itโ€™s a photograph, a shirt, tie etc. I have a book of little poems from my Mom. I even found a Pound Cake Recipe written in her hand.
I am so glad you enjoyed the Poem. Thanks for your kind words and support.

      1. I recently found something my Mom wrote down, though she didn’t write it, called Life’s Recipe. It was very good and nice that it was in her handwriting. More of what I like to call, country pleasures, that I often write about. Not too many people seem to like when I write about country pleasures though, but some do like it. Enjoy your evening!

      2. Wow Steve…that sounds wonderful, Lifeโ€™s Recipe. I can only imagine the how it must have felt when you found it. Sounds like a great idea for a new blog or a New Section. Love it. Country Pleasure Sounds interesting. Nostalgia has helped you discover something else to add. Enjoy your evening, too!
